Terms for using the independent MAI Transcribe 2 online tool, including Free, Plus, Pro, and credit packs.
Service
maitranscribe2.com provides an independent browser tool that lets you try MAI Transcribe 2 online. It is not an official product from the model publisher.
Acceptable use
Do not upload audio you do not have the right to process. Do not use the free quota to attack, scrape, or overload the service. Do not upload illegal content.
Plans
Subscription names on this site are Free, Plus, and Pro. They are not called Starter.
Free
Each registered account can complete one free transcription per UTC day (resets at 00:00 UTC), subject to file size and duration limits published on the pricing page. Free use does not include API access.
Plus and Pro
Paid monthly or yearly subscriptions. Current prices and included credits are on the pricing page. Plan credits reset at the end of each billing period and are not carried over. Yearly billing is two months free compared with paying month to month.
Credit packs (one-time)
Separate from subscriptions. Names: Starter pack (100 credits), Work pack (500 credits), Studio pack (2,000 credits). Pack credits never expire and are shared with the website and the API. Pack names are not subscription names.
Billing and refunds
Prices are in US dollars. A successful paid job uses credits (1 credit ≈ 1 minute, rounded, 1 credit minimum). Failed jobs are not charged.
Refund requests: email hello@maitranscribe2.com with the account email and the payment date. We review unused pack credits and billing errors. We do not refund credits already used on successful jobs. Subscription renewals can be cancelled so they do not charge again; unused plan credits still reset at period end.
No warranty
Transcripts can contain errors. Do not rely on this tool as the only record for medical, legal, or compliance work.
