How maitranscribe2.com handles audio uploads, transcripts, logs, and deletion requests.
Who we are
maitranscribe2.com is an independent speech-to-text website. Contact: hello@maitranscribe2.com or the contact form.
What we collect
Audio you upload
The recording or video file you send for transcription. We use it only to return a transcript.
Transcripts
The text and speaker-labeled segments shown in your browser after a job finishes. We do not keep a transcript library on our servers.
Usage records
- Free daily quota: your account ID, UTC date, request identifier, completion status, and timestamp, stored to enforce one successful free job per account per day. Earlier anonymous quota records contain a one-way hash of the IP address and date; these are retained as historical usage records and no longer determine your quota.
- Paid jobs: filename, duration, credit count, and timestamp on your account so you can see recent usage. We do not store the audio or the transcript with that row.
Account data
When you register or sign in: email, authentication tokens, API keys you create, and billing status from the payment provider.
Security and analytics
- Cloudflare Turnstile tokens to stop automated abuse.
- Optional Google Analytics identifiers only when a measurement ID is configured on this site.
- Cloudflare operational logs (URL, status, approximate location) used to keep the Worker available and to investigate abuse.
How audio is processed
- Your browser sends the file to our Cloudflare Worker at maitranscribe2.com.
- The Worker sends the audio to our contracted speech-processing service for the duration of the request.
- The transcript is returned to your browser. The upload is not written into a permanent media library.
Where processing happens
- Cloudflare: hosting, TLS, bot checks, and (for signed-in file tools) object storage. Cloudflare’s network is global; the Worker that handles your request runs on a nearby edge location.
- Speech-processing service: processes the audio only to produce your transcript. The service may process requests in the regions where it operates.
We do not train our own model on your recordings. We do not sell audio or transcripts.
How long we keep data

Failed jobs are not charged and still do not keep the audio.
Third parties
- Cloudflare — hosting, security, Turnstile, and storage
- Speech-processing service — converts audio to a transcript during the request
- Stripe (or the active payment provider) — checkout and invoices, if you buy credits
- Google Analytics — only if a measurement ID is configured
- Google — sign-in, if you use Google login
How to request deletion
Email hello@maitranscribe2.com from the address on the account. Ask us to delete account data, API keys, and paid-job metadata. We will confirm when the rows we control are gone. Provider logs and backups follow those companies’ own schedules; we will pass on a deletion request where they offer one.
