How maitranscribe2.com handles audio uploads, transcripts, and analytics.
Who we are
maitranscribe2.com is an unofficial third-party speech to text website. It is not operated by Microsoft.
What we collect
- Audio files you upload for transcription
- The resulting transcript shown in your browser
- A hashed daily usage mark so we can enforce one free transcription per IP per day
- Cloudflare Turnstile verification tokens
- Optional analytics identifiers if Google Analytics is enabled
We do not require an account for the free daily try.
How we use it
Audio is sent to the MAI Transcribe 2 model through our server so we can return text. We use Cloudflare infrastructure (Workers, D1, R2, KV, Turnstile) to host the product and stop abuse.
Retention
We do not keep a permanent media library. Usage hashes exist only to enforce the daily quota. Transcripts live in your browser unless you download them.

- Google Analytics, only if a measurement ID is configured
